Toyota Racing Gives RoaringSky the Checkered Flag; Racing Division Realizes Dramatic Increases in Manufacturing Efficiencies and Overall Productivity
IRVINE, Calif. – June 1, 2006 – RoaringSky Incorporated today announced details of the implementation of the ChannelSmart application suite at Toyota Racing Development USA (TRD). TRD integrated ChannelSmart which runs seamlessly in concert with the company’s legacy ERP and MRP systems and has been instrumental in the growth of the racing unit of Toyota for two years.
“Because TRD operates in such a diverse and dynamic environment, the ability of ChannelSmart to assist in the efficient management of complex data allows us to implement changes quickly, accurately, and consistently which is a cost savings in inventory value and manpower” states Greg Ozmai, Sr. Operations Manager for TRD USA.
TRD has recently called on RoaringSky to add financial reporting and part management modules, allowing the manufacturer to model cost impact of part changes while considering complex parameters such as real-time exchange rates for parts sourced from international suppliers.
TRD USA is now planning on synchronizing all of its legacy ERP processes with ChannelSmart, putting the company “on track” to handle the challenges ahead with its continued growth.
